Responsive Web Design for Credit4 Home Improvements: For Internal Use Through an Introducers Portal
Credit4 Home Improvements is a specialist provider of point of sale, second and third line consumer finance company, They have a large database of ever-increasing introducer partners in the home improvement sector. These introducers help their clients with less than perfect credit history with the financial services of Credit4 obtain the credit they seek to fund projects for home improvements they are able to accept those applications that other lenders will not.
We have been working with the Home Improvements division of Credit4 for a number of years. A few years ago we migrated the old internal website they had over to a new hosting provider and set up the new host and email accounts for the team members when they came on board a few years ago. During the last 12 months, we have been working on the new website as the company decided it was time to upgrade the old outdated Home Improvements introducer site with a cleaner more modern design. The website is going to be used internally through an introducers portal for introducer partners to access to make applications and will not be available to private customers.
We started by consulting in face to face meetings with the directors of Credit4 to discuss the new website design. We first set about designing a wireframe construction of the site and held a workshop to demonstrate usability and design. Once approved we moved on to the design and development of the website we also provided copywriting service for the website’s copy. Unlike a lot of other web projects, we needed to work closely with the companies legal team and lawyers on the legal pages to make sure they were legally binding. The project has been quite lengthy due to collaborations with the legal team and lawyers to get the legal information on the site approved and finalised.
What we did for the website project
The main area we needed to focus on was a clean design, The website is not intended for regular customers but the companies introducer partners and a presence for the home improvements division so customers can see who their introducers are referring them to. So focus needed to be made on easy usability and quick access to information and the clients portal.
