Today Designer Spotlight: Skyler London Brand Identity Spotlight
London-based consultancy To the Point has designed the branding and interiors for new hair salon Skyler London. Based in South side Shopping Centre in Wandsworth, London the salon has been founded by hairdresser Skyler McDonald, and specialises in hair colouring treatments.
To the Point’s identity for the salon is inspired by “the intricate process of hair colouring”, says the consultancy, and sees a linear logo that is based on how colour is applied to hair. This concept is carried through to the salon’s interiors, with line-based iconography used as part of the way finding system and interior graphics.
